How do I place an order?

Send a message through the contact form and the artist will guide you through the rest. The general process and pricing are shown on the pricing page.

How long does it take to complete a portrait?

Turnaround varies by complexity and current schedule, typically a couple of weeks. A personalized timeframe is given before starting, and priority speed is possible for an additional fee.

What size options are offered?

Standard sizes include 9x12, 11x14, 12x16, 16x20 and 18x24 inches. Custom sizes are available on request.

Are commissions besides portraits available, such as pets or still life?

Yes. Pets, landscapes, still life and a whole range of subjects can be accommodated.

Can you work from low-quality or old photos?

Generally yes, as long as the subject is clearly visible. Send references over for a free evaluation.

What payment methods are accepted?

PayPal and Stripe are most common. Zelle and direct transfer are also possible.

What is the refund policy?

During the review stage any changes can be requested until you are satisfied, and a complete refund is available during this time if you no longer want to proceed.

How is the portrait shipped and preserved?

Portraits are drawn on high quality art paper, spray-fixed to prevent smudging, and shipped in a strong mailing tube. Framing behind glass is recommended.

How is the Art Video delivered?

Through a private download link once editing is complete. Changes to pacing, length and music can be accommodated.

Review a digital preview, then pay the remaining balance before I ship your original. Your Art Video, if ordered, follows by private download.

What photographs should I send?

Start with the clearest original photograph you have. Older or imperfect images may still work; I’ll review the faces and details before we agree on the commission. If you have several photographs, I can help you choose.

How long will my commission take?

Timing depends on the composition and my current schedule. Tell me any date you have in mind. I’ll confirm the expected timing for the portrait and, if ordered, its Art Video before work begins.

Can I include my children, a pet or a setting?

Yes. The one- and two-person prices apply to adults or children in a head-and-shoulders portrait. For three or more people, a person with a pet, scenery or meaningful objects, I’ll quote the complete composition after discussing the photographs and details with you.

What sizes can I request?

The listed portrait sizes are 12 × 16 inches and 16 × 20 inches. Smaller, larger and custom sizes are also possible. Tell me the space you have in mind and I’ll confirm the size and price with you.

When do I pay, and can I review the portrait?

Once we agree on the reference, price and timing, a 50% deposit secures your commission. You receive a digital preview of the finished portrait for feedback before I request the balance and ship the artwork.

Does the portrait come framed?

Framing is not included in these people-portrait prices. The original artwork is sent in a protective mailing tube. Some gallery photographs show framed portraits to illustrate how the finished work can look on display. For real estate client gifts, optional framing is priced in your complete gift quote.

How are the artwork and Art Video delivered?

Shipping is additional. I send the original in a protective mailing tube and provide tracking after dispatch. If you order an Art Video, you receive a private download link when the editing is complete.

Do you offer closing gifts for real estate clients?

Yes. A portrait of the home your client has bought or sold makes the gift specific to their move. Visit closing gifts for real estate professionals to discuss the home, your client and the date you have in mind.
